Abstract

Recently, modern learning strategies have shifted from an instructor-centric approach, which mainly focuses on transmitting knowledge from expert to pupil, to a learner-centric approach, in which students have different requirements for digital educational environments. These individual needs must be taken into consideration. Therefore, the digital world based on adaptive learning has become one of the most important instructive environments, which aims to improve the learning process for each student so that they can achieve their goals. This study seeks to identify the effectiveness of digital environments based on adaptive teaching in developing deep understanding skills in students in the faculty of education at Al-Aqsa University, Gaza. To achieve this study’s research goals, the ( )96 quasi-experimental approach and a deep understanding test were used as the main ( )51 ()45 tools for research. The study sample consisted of 96 female students, who were divided into two groups: 51 in the experimental group and 45 in the control group. The sample was selected intentionally. The results proved the effectiveness of . digital learning environments based on adaptive teaching in developing deep understanding skills in the sample students. Taking the research results into . account, the researcher recommends the integration of digital learning environments in all its forms, particularly focusing on adaptive learning that is . appropriate for students’ individual differences.
