Abstract
The study aims to examine how effective an adaptive e-learning environment is in the development of e-lesson design skills for student teachers at Al-Baha University. A quasi- experimental method was used for the purpose of this study. The study standard . consisted of an achievement test and an observation checklist. For the purpose of the . . study the sample students were divided into two groups, a control group and an experimental group, with 22 students in each group. The study results showed a ( )22 . statistically significant difference at a level of α≤0.05 in the cognitive achievement test, with the post-test in favor of the experimental group in lesson design skills. There was also a significant difference of α≤0.05 found in the observation checklist, with the post- ( ) test in favor of the experimental group in lesson design skills. The study concludes that . an adaptive electronic learning environment is an effective element in teaching and learning and stresses the need for student teachers learning e-lesson design skills to be trained through an adaptive electronic learning environment. . ) (Bahhouth and Bahhouth,2011 ) (Babo and Azevedo,2013 ( .)silovsky andChristoph, 2003 ) .
